Branham’s Snapshot. last Sunday. this coming Sunday.

Hello CCA This prayer directive below, will augment my main 2 points from last Sunday: Divine Appointments and Go with the Power of God. Everyday, God puts in front of you people and situations in which you could make an eternal difference, like the prayer suggested by our missionary friend, Rob Branham, below. So, would you, each and every day, wake up, realizing that God IS going to put Divine Encounters (people in need of Him) in your path for…

Insider’s Alert – July

Hello Church, This is from our Missionary to the Muslims. You will find the information useful as you examine world events and learn how to pray for the nations to turn to Christ. Read to the end. You are in it 😊 For The King and the expansion of His Kingdom. Deryl Titus Attached is the newest Insider’s Alert from Lee Turner with Key Communications.

Success probably isn’t an accident

Hello Church, God tells us The Church is the pillar and support to the truth. Crime, theft, violence, murder have been on my radar and probably yours, these past months. Where are these people coming from? They are coming from families. Sunday, I am preaching on “A Child and his Church” from Acts 16.1-5. I have been thinking about how The Church can bring to the community, the concepts of truth, eternal existence, human value, God, accountability, using your life…

Checking In

Hello Church 😊 Are you seeing God’s fingerprints on your life’s work today? Sometimes they sure seem smudged by the sludge don’t they. You have to search hard for them at times, but trust Him, they are there! Here’s a quick 4 things that will get you thinking about the opportunity to Praise our victorious King this Sunday: Megan York from Boise Bible College has been helping us for a month in youth camp and getting ready for the Bowman…

Conversing With The Master and His plan.

You are “making the jump to lightspeed” in your prayer life when you learn to pray for others. Our young prayer life usually mimics a McDonald’s drive-through: “May I take your order please?” We pray like God is there to listen to us and pull our order from his warehouse. The Bible does says “make your requests known to God.” But your prayer life begins to accelerate when you begin to pray over the big items in the world that…

Servant heart this Sunday

Hello Church! Servant heart. That is the subject that Robbie Mullinax will present during our worship this Sunday. He and his daughters will tell of their mission trip to Honduras. From a church blog: “An Easy Way to Tell If You Have a Servant Heart is how you act when you’re treated like a servant.” “There are 2 verses I cite to myself every day: Romans 12:4 (“Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think…

Change of Address

Hello Church, Yesterday, our friend and brother, Ken McKenzie passed from this life to reward and complete joy. I can even now hear his laughter that could be heard throughout the building. “after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep” Acts 13:36. Ken is already missed. Lift up his wife Melissa and daughter and granddaughters here in anchorage.

Community Garden

Hello Church, Chuck Bost has begun a “community” project that you could participate in. It has been active for about a month. Come see it. Here’s a message from Chuck:   “don’t forget to bring a plant for the container garden up on the deck (front deck on the upper duplex). Chuck is watering them and making sure they are growing! The food grown will be donated to local homeless shelter or other charity. I know we’re doing this a…

I want to read the Bible

Hello CCA I want to read the Bible. But you know how busy just gets in the way. I jump out of bed and I’m already behind. What if I had the Bible with me everywhere I go? At the stoplight while I’m driving, while I’m waiting in line at DMV or anywhere. Well that’s what YouVersion is. I can read the Bible anywhere. I can read the Bible and ask questions of it with friends. Last Thanksgiving Rick Elliott…

Independence Day

Even reading this, (for me, thinking of it) means we are living in the fruit of declaring independence. Declaring it did not mean we had it. We had to fight for it still. I will jump back and forth between us today and the men who signed the document. The future was unknown. What would a new world for us look like? Would we be able to “make it”? Would it prove to be better than the system we had…

This Weekend

Hello Church 😊 We have to fit a lot of warmth and sunshine into 3 months. I sat outside with Kelly and my youngest granddaughter tonight before dinner… warmth from God and family!! Good stuff. Sunday, I am going to introduce 2 of the young men of CCA. They helped with Junior Camp last week. They were extraordinary. If they weren’t the best teens I have worked with, they are in the top percentile. I have asked them to share what…

Wednesday Night Alive

Hello CCA The weather can’t decide what it wants to do. I’m voting sunshine. Remember the 2018 Faith Outreach Plan I laid out for us this year, back in January? It asked you questions, like how do I want to progress in my faith and witness this year? We don’t want to be a 10 year old Christian with only one year worth of Spiritual Development. Wednesday nights are designed to offer 5 things that are basic Christianity: Fellowship, meals…
