Hello Church! Deryl and I have been thinking about how we are going to celebrate Easter as a church and how we are going to engage people. I read an article today that is good to think on. About making Easter a big celebration. The article is by Barbara Rainy.

We want you! Have you found a place to serve? Here are a few opportunities: • Preschool Teacher for Sundays during the 11am service. This is a rotation. You would teach every 3rd month. • Nursery Helpers for Sundays • Wednesday Teacher for grades 1-5. This is a rotation. You would teach every other month. See Mandy if you are interested. There is a training and qualification process for all Children’s teachers which includes having attended our Membership Class.

There is a desperate need for some volunteers to help at New Hope on the Last Frontier (a food bank) on Thursdays, either morning or afternoon. It is a time of stocking shelves, sorting food donations and unloading food deliveries, according to physical abilities. Anyone who can volunteer for approximately two hours anytime between 9 am and 4 pm, on Thursdays, would be appreciated. They provide training for all volunteers. Live Nativity starts this week! For the nativity we dress up in costumes that look like Mary, Joseph, Angels, Shepherds, & Wise Men. The costumes fit over all your winter gear. It’s Wednesday, two weeks till Trunk or Treating. Here are some things to know for that evening: There will be NO Bible Study that night or kid’s classes. Dinner is Hot Dogs that you roast over a fire pit. Someone is needed to be in charge of the night over all. I may not be there.
