Graduation Potluck

Just a reminder that this Sunday is our graduation potluck and celebration for Jayden and Skye. Please bring a main dish and a side dish to share. Foods they like are Mexican, lasagna, and artichokes. I have specific people bringing cheesecakes, so we are good with those. See ya Sunday!

Painting in the Duplex

Hello Church! We could really use some painters to help paint in the Lower Duplex this Saturday or Sunday. There is some painting and priming. You don’t have to be a neat painter or professional. It is just white paint and the carpet is getting replaced. Even if you can put in 2-4 hours this weekend that would be AMAZING!!! I will be at the church at 11am on Saturday to decorate for the graduation potluck and I can let…

Barefoot Mile on Saturday

Hello Church, Here’s a note from a local company where one of our members works, regarding the 3rd annual Alaska Barefoot Mile Walk this Saturday. https://www.alaskabarefootmile.org/ watch the 3 videos on the website. Deployed by The King – My Assignments: Work, Church, Family

Hello Church, Are you aware that God calls you to make a difference in your work and in all your circumstances? Would you like some more ideas on that? 10am this Sunday

Hello CCA, Spring looks promising 😊. It can’t decide what weather to provide, but the trees are going to ‘pop’ any day. Alaska may be the best State for weather this Winter and Spring. Our 10 am Small Groups are all going to meet together this Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. We will discuss, “Creating a Multi-Generational Family Spiritual Plan” so we each enjoy a huge family reunion when we all arrive safely in Heaven. We are fitting in 3…

Wednesday study on Work as Worship and Ministry

Hello Church, We all wish we could make a difference for Christ. We can. And we can do so in our current work and job. Would you like some more ideas on that? Here’s what I wrote last week: “We all want to be effective for Christ and show our appreciation for the life He gives us. But so much of our time and our energy are sapped by our work. How can we find time to serve God when…

New Wednesday Night Training

Hello CCA, We all want to be effective for Christ and show our appreciation for the life He gives us. But so much of our time and our energy are sapped by our work. How can we find time to serve God when we have to work? What if Christians took their faith and work ethic to work? God wants to turn an audience into an army. God has made you for so much more than a chair on Sunday.…

Easter Impact

Hello Church, However you picture the Resurrection in your mind, we live a different life and with a different hope because of what Jesus has done for us. Our Easter time together was a great honor and tribute to Jesus. Thank you for being with us and the heartfelt worship you gave. It was a big day! And you are probably still sorting through all the thoughts generated from yesterday. That’s ok, Easter is a lot to wrap our brain…

Parking

Happy Snowy Friday! At least its warm and melting 😉 Remember to park in the North Lot on Sunday-this is the parking lot that faces O’Malley. That will give our guests plenty of room to park in the main lot. You can park there and use the back door to enter and go downstairs to breakfast or upstairs to worship. Or you can use the sidewalk and go in at the front door. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
