Roy Meyer

Roy Meyer

Roy grew up in the small town of Burley, Idaho. He was raised in the LDS church and later became an atheist after graduating high school. About 8 years later the Lord led him to faith through a friendship with a coworker. He gave his life to Jesus on April 1st, 2012, and has been seeking to serve God since then. Roy sought mentoring while learning more about Jesus, which led him to attend Boise Bible College. It was there that he met his wife, Mary, and together they graduated in 2019. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Preaching. Roy and Mary have two children, Edward and Temperance. Their family has a heart for God’s mission and seeks to live out Jesus’ command to “Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul and with all of your mind and with all of your strength… [and] love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:29-31).

As the senior minister of CCA, Roy seeks to lead others to impact their areas of influence by being disciples focused on Jesus’ way of life. His heart is to see people grow in their faith in Jesus so that He would lead them to reach the world around them for His glory. Roy and his family are grateful to have been called to the ministry in Anchorage.
