Travis and Rebecca Kilson from Japan will be visiting September 28 – October 19. Robert Rees from India will be visiting October 6-17. CCA supports all of these missionaries and we will hear updates from them while they are visiting. We will hear from the Kilsons about their work in Japan on October 2nd, potluck following worship. Then on October 9th we will here from Robert about his work translating the Bible.

Our grass here at the church could use watering a couple times a week. We have all the necessary hoses and sprinklers here. Let Mandy know if you can help. If we had a few people who could help we could set up a schedule for watering.

Over the next couple months different people will be preaching. Some of those people will come from out of town and will be staying in the lower duplex. Hi Church! I hope your week has gone well. This Sunday we will be decorating the inside of the church building for Christmas. Plan to stay after church, have some lunch with us (it will be provided) and help us decorate the entry way, foyer, and sanctuary. All the decorations are here, we just need people to help set them up. There are things for everyone to do. We need people who can get on ladders, kids who can run…

Bowman is in need of winter gloves (not the little knit ones). Their gym teacher keeps gloves so she can hand them out whenever needed and her supply is almost gone. There is a box in the foyer, outside the sanctuary to collect them. You can start bringing them next Sunday, Mandy will drop them off to Bowman as we collect them.

Hi Church, This year we are helping 4 families with Thanksgiving Dinner. A family of 14, one of 10, one of 3 and one of 4. Here is what we need: 4 Turkeys (2 can be a little smaller) 2, 5lb bags of potatoes 2, 10lb bags of potatoes 6-8 boxes of stuffing Rolls – 2 families need 15-20 rolls and 2 families need 8 rolls (approx.) 14 cans of green beans 10 cans of corn 4 pumpkin pies 6-8…

This year for Thanksgiving we are going to do a couple different projects: Help Bowman Elementary with their food baskets. At this time they have all the food and just need us to provide 10-12 laundry baskets. Bring a laundry basket by Sunday, November 21st. Help families who could use a Thanksgiving dinner.
