Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter morning

Hello CCA!

I hope you are able to enjoy the sun today. Even if it’s sitting by a window and soaking in some vitamin D.

Attached is Day 3, Maundy Thursday.

Tomorrow we are going to have a Good Friday service online at 7PM. It will be on Facebook and Ustream. The Ustream link is on the home page of our website www.christianchurchofanchorage.com.  It will be a short message and 2 testimonies.

Sunday is Easter!! Lots going on that day! Dress up, tune in for the different things, eat a feast like you normally would, and remember to invite people to watch the service online. Even people you don’t like 

• Early Service at 8am on Facebook and Ustream. A song by Kelly Titus with a message by Andy King.
• 2 Sunday School Classes on ZOOM both at 10AM.
  • Rick Elliott’s class is primarily for 62 and over, but they do no check IDs  This Sunday they will be talking about the Resurrection. Contact Rick Elliott for more information rickelliott@gci.net.
  • Core 52 group led by Rich Ziehmer, this week we will be talking about The Gospel. Email Rich at rziehmer@hotmail.com to let him know you want to join the class.
• Worship Service at 11AM. There will be music again before the sermon, message by Deryl and a communion thought. I attached the communion instructions again so you can be prepared to take communion on Sunday. Worship service will be on Facebook live and Ustream.

On Easter Sunday, take a picture of you or you and your family watching the service together. Then we want you to send it to us or put the picture on Facebook so Alex can compile a collage and upload the picture for everyone. So be thinking about that now. We want to do something fun so everyone can see everyone else who is watching. You can put your picture on the church’s Facebook page. Or you can put the picture on your Facebook page and tag the church or send it to the church’s page. Or you can email your picture to Alex at ccaworship@gci.net. He isn’t using his phone for FB live anymore so a text to him will not interrupt the live feed. I CANNOT wait to see your pictures!!!!
