the school year begins

Hello CCA.

Tomorrow is a new chapter as school starts in Anchorage. We have sure been on a learning curve since March. I know for some of you the start of the school year is challenging, students and parents! We had a good meeting last week with parents and I encourage you to talk to other parents and get their ideas. We had some who offered help, and some who offered suggestions and we might be able to have that tape-recording put on our website so visit our website for the latest information. Even if you’re frustrated at so many unknowns I pray that you are seeing God‘s hand in all of this. This growth stage in our life has not been comfortable but that drives us to our knees doesn’t it. It requires us to rely upon God in brand new ways, so it’s difficult but good for us. We have been praying for your kids, we have been praying for you as parents. And our prayers will continue. May your family grow even closer together as you rely upon each other to wade through new issues that come up each week.

Have some distance fellowship with people, either in person or via zoom. Stay connected as best you can. Make a phone call. Find some reasons to laugh. And give thanks to God. “He is able to do abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3.20.

In difficult times God has great lessons for us and he comes through in great ways. Look for both of those. May your faith increase.
