Our Mission’s Auction and Lunch is fast approaching. The committee wanted to remind you of a couple of items before the big event.
- Everyone is invited to the Auction. You may come to the Auction without buying a ticket. The ticket is for lunch only. Lunch will be from 12:30 – 1:00 pm and the Auction will begin at 1:00 pm. Dessert is free to everyone.
- Buy your tickets for lunch by this Sunday to get the pre-sale price of $10 per adult and $5 per child, or family price of $30. Because this event is being catered we cannot guarantee that there will be tickets available day of the event. Tickets sold after Sunday, October 14th will be $14 per adult and $6 per child. Family tickets will be $40.
- Auction items – we still need several items for the silent auction, higher valued items for the live auction and small items for the raffle. Please bring these items to the church on Sunday, 10/14.
- Auction Wish List – many of you have talents and skills but are too shy to offer them up as an auction item, so we are going to introduce the Auction Wish List. On the wish list someone writes down something they are looking for or project they are seeking help. They will write down the terms of the job (when, who is supplying material, etc.). Then they will put a price of what they will donate to the auction for your “goods” or labor. If you have the skills to do the project or can provide the “goods” they are looking for, you simply write your name down as they fulfiller. Examples:
