Why I am Glad I Found Out about the Resurrection …
Spring brings many of my favorite things, green trees, flowers blooming, warmer days and Easter. I love Easter because it reminds me of hope, restoration and the birth of new life. Easter is when we remember, as children of God, the new life we have been given through the resurrection
I accepted Christ as my savoir as a child. I feel that the decision you make as a child are often easier than when you make one as an adult. You have no doubts, no conflicting theories. A child makes a decision with full trust. It’s like when a child is picked up, they assumes that since you have them in your arms, everything is going to be alright. I am glad I found out about the resurrection because I can trust I have God’s love and forgiveness and an eternal life with him. I can trust completely in God’s promises like a child.
Because of the resurrection I know that God has accepted the Savior’s sacrifice and I am offered to live a forgiven life. I have been delivered from the power of sin. The resurrection assures me that Jesus can transform my life and my failures every day. I believe God wants us to have a child-like trust in Him that He will always provide for us, and that He will cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him. The bodily resurrection of Jesus teaches us we can trust God with absolute certainty, we can live every day in the certainty and security of his promise. I am happy I found out about the resurrection because of the promises of life and hope.
