Hello Church!
Here is what is going on this Easter weekend:
Tomorrow night at 7pm we are having a Good Friday service. It will be about an hour long with singing and a message from DT. *Parking will be tight on Friday night so park in the north lot or at Frank and Angel’s house (their house is behind the duplex)
Sunday:
8am Early Service at McHugh Creek. McHugh Creek is milepost 111 of the Seward Hwy, not too far from Anchorage, about a 10-minute drive from south Anchorage. I drove out there today and what I could see of the driveway up to the upper parking was clear. I do have a key to open the gate, so we can POTENTIALLY drive up to the upper parking lot. If there is snow on the road up to the upper parking lot (higher than what I could see) then we cannot drive up it and will have to park in the lower parking lot. The stairs are free of snow. The early service is about 30 minutes.
9:45am Potluck Breakfast – Angel will be at the church from 7:15-7:45am so you can drop off food for the potluck if you would like to on your way to McHugh Creek. John & Paula will be at the church about 9am to open the doors. The doors will not be open from 7:45-9am. Please bring a main dish and a side dish to share for breakfast.
11am Worship Celebration – remember to sit towards the front of the sanctuary and sit towards the middle of the row so our guests can sit on the edge and find a seat easily.
**Parking Sunday morning Please park in the North lot (the lot facing O’malley) or Frank & Angel’s house. PLEASE, PLEASE fill those places up first. We want to leave room in the south lot for our visitors. If you are a regular attender, you should try to park in the north lot (facing O’Malley) or at Frank’s house. The back door that is at the west side of the building in the north lot will be unlocked for you to enter in.
