New Wednesday Night Training

New Wednesday Night Training

Hello CCA,

We all want to be effective for Christ and show our appreciation for the life He gives us. But so much of our time and our energy are sapped by our work. How can we find time to serve God when we have to work?

What if Christians took their faith and work ethic to work? God wants to turn an audience into an army. God has made you for so much more than a chair on Sunday.

Are work and our Christian life separate?

Let’s explore the God-given understanding, even joy of work. Maybe we will find out how to see our work as an expression of our faith and an example to the world of the creative capabilities that God gives to His people.

The Gospel at work

Many Christians fall victim to one of the two main problems when it comes to work: either they are idle in their work, or they have made an idol of it. Both of these mind-sets are deadly misunderstandings of how God intends for us to think about our employment. In The Gospel at Work, Sebastian Traeger and Greg Gilbert unpack the powerful ways in which the gospel can transform how we do what we do, releasing us from the cultural pressures of both an all-consuming devotion and a punch-in, punch-out mentality–in order to find the freedom of a work ethic rooted in serving Christ.
