Hello Church,
Are you making plans to research some new things about Christmas this coming month? I hope so. Look into the background of why we celebrate this event. Thanksgiving may be uniquely an American holiday, but Christmas is universal.
After praise service tomorrow we are going to decorate the church for the Christmas season. We should celebrate at full volume. Would you free some time to help and get started thinking about the season? We are providing lunch.
Tomorrow is the last of the series: Thanksgiving is Therapy. Here’s the passage under consideration:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4.6,7
