Hello CCA Starting tomorrow: Wednesday 6-8p:  (including dinner) Session 4 in Disciples Making Disciples. The Memory verse is 2 Timothy 3.16,17 NLT “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” That is known as…

Back To Church Sunday

Happy Friday!! I am loving the sunshine we have had the last few days! Next Sunday is Back To Church Sunday, we have called it Fall Kick Off in the past. We are going to start calling it Back to Church Sunday because it is a national movement to get congregations across America to invite people back to church. I made invitations last week for you all to pick up to hand out to friends and neighbors. I put them…

Wednesday Discipling

Hello Church ? Its been rewarding to see the interest in learning to grow as a disciple in 9 specific ways from 2 Peter chapter 1 and about our role in giving some discipleship training to others. Tomorrow is week #3. It is about “Knowing God’s will.” The scripture to memorize is Proverbs 3.5,6: 5Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.…

This Sunday.

Hello Church ? Sunday we have a unique opportunity to peer in to God’s Word. We will be in Acts chapter 17 and reading about the city of Thessalonica. We get to see what brought them to Christ and then we can read a letter back to them within just a few short months. This will give us a window to learn what an Apostle taught as the first basic Christian information. This will permit us to see what we…

Hello CCA This prayer directive below, will augment my main 2 points from last Sunday: Divine Appointments and Go with the Power of God. Back To School Night was a SUCCESS!!

Thank you to everyone who participated last night in the Back To School Night at Bowman Elementary. It was A HUGE SUCCESS!!! There were lots of people! Families were lined up by 5:45pm to get a backpack. We gave away 190 backpacks last night. I took the remaining 10 backpacks to Bowman this morning, so they could give them away to kids who needed them. The office staff, teachers and principal were so appreciative of what we did last night.…

Success probably isn’t an accident

Hello Church, God tells us The Church is the pillar and support to the truth. Crime, theft, violence, murder have been on my radar and probably yours, these past months. Where are these people coming from? They are coming from families. Sunday, I am preaching on “A Child and his Church” from Acts 16.1-5. I have been thinking about how The Church can bring to the community, the concepts of truth, eternal existence, human value, God, accountability, using your life…

Conversing With The Master and His plan.

You are “making the jump to lightspeed” in your prayer life when you learn to pray for others. Our young prayer life usually mimics a McDonald’s drive-through: “May I take your order please?” We pray like God is there to listen to us and pull our order from his warehouse. The Bible does says “make your requests known to God.” But your prayer life begins to accelerate when you begin to pray over the big items in the world that…
